Hello, we are Jason and Lisa Worley and welcome to J&L Produce! We would like to share a little bit about our farm and how it all comes together.
Worley Family Farms is a fourth generation family farm located in Princeton, North Carolina. Jason and his brother Brian work very hard to keep the family farm up and going with soybeans, wheat and corn being the main crops.
In 2009, the family decided to diversify and planted their first strawberry crop.
The first harvest wasn't until April 2010 and today we are still growing delicious strawberries.
In 2012, Lisa left her public job to become a full time farm wife. Lisa has many roles but overseeing the strawberries, customer service, sales, packing out and distributing are just a few to name.
In 2015 J&L Produce opened their doors and created our best selling CSA program known as the “Veggie Box.
In 2020 J & L Produce expanded by opening up an on-site market. Each year the market opens up in April and kicks off with their strawberry season. The market is filled with fresh local produce and lots of local and NC items!
In 2021 we decided to expand our crops by adding cotton.
Since 2009, it is our mission to provide quality produce and a great experience to our customers both near and far! Our produce farm market is open during the Spring, Summer, and Fall growing season and we would love for you to come visit us!
